The Future
FRC Group is one of the UK’s most successful and high profile social businesses. We continue to run a portfolio of sustainable social businesses that have stood the test of time and successfully survived turbulent economic cycles.
We continue to run businesses that give customers exactly what they need – great service, great prices , great products and great support. But that’s what any great business does!
In addition to this we work hard to use our business activity to create opportunities for people who are usually left out – sometimes these are people we supply furniture to, but more often they are our colleagues. We continue to create opportunities in which people can really prove themselves and move on to a new stage in their lives.
The future is both disheartening and encouraging. It’s disheartening that after over 20 years of working flat out to confront inequality we still have a very long way to go. It is encouraging that every year we get a little better at what we do, increase our reach and depth, and help increasing numbers of people.
Both Furniture Resource Centre and Bulky Bob’s are embarking on ambitious new business plans and FRC Group is introducing other exciting initiatives - like the acquisition of private companies.
Whatever the future presents, FRC Group will approach these opportunities and challenges with Bravery, Creativity , Passion and Professionalism.
